Atlantis - last lift off of space shuttle

Source MSN
"The space shuttle Atlantis lifts off from launch pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The 12-day mission, known as STS-135, to the International Space Station is the last mission in the Space Shuttle program."

I watched the first space shuttle lift off some 30 years ago. We ran outside and I saw the fuel tank etc burn up as it hurtled back towards earth after being de-linked from the shuttle.
